Anime on Friday!

Hello everyone!

Our second-last showing of the summer is this coming Friday, in A-1046 at 7:30 pm. It's amazing how fast the semester has gone by!

This showing is an Adult Only 18+ showing. We're showing...

They Are My Noble Masters (Rated 18+ for suggestive themes and mature content) (Comedy)

Due to family troubles, Ren Uesugi and his sister, Mihato, leave their home. They end up moving to the city but find themselves with a lack of money. Somehow they are able to find work in the form of the Kuonji family's mansion, and are employed as servants to the three sisters of the Kuonji family: Shinra, Miyu, and Yume. Being a butler also associates Ren with the mansion's additional servants and the Kuonji sisters' friends. Please note that in this world, butlers have super powers, and...interesting duties.

and tentatively Dragon Drive (we are not entirely certain of the availability of this, therefore a substitute may be used. We should know about this fairly soon.)

Oozora Reiji isn't a lazy boy, he's just terribly unmotivated; all the clubs and activities he's joined don't interest him for long. That is, of course, until his best friend Yukino takes him to a underground arcade where an unbelievable virtual reality game is played - Dragon Drive - in which players fight each other with virtual dragons. Reiji ends up throwing all he's got into training a dragon so rare that the Dragon Drive staff are baffled. But soon Reiji learns that Dragon Drive isn't all it seems, and he might be the only one who can save an entire world from evil.

Android Ana Maico 2010 (Comedy) is an alternative

In the year 2010, the Japanese radio industry is in decline. To reverse their flagging ratings, a station staffed with perennial losers makes a daring gamble: to hire the industry's first android on-air host. Maico is cute, but it will take more than novelty to win over the fickle audience -- especially with a crew as inept as this one.

Hopefully we'll see you there!

Plans for the Summer

So, last Friday we revealed our plans for this summer - we're trying something new. Previous summers have shown us that attendance drops off (how shocking, right?).

So we're going to drop a couple of the showings for this summer, and reduce our schedule to monthly showings, rather than bi-weekly ones.

We'll be in A-1046 on June 20th through 22rd (for our Midterm Fest, which is Vision of Escaflowne), July 18th, and August 1st. We'll send out e-mails as usual, to remind you that we do exist, and to announce what we're screening.

Our regular schedule will resume in September, and next summer's schedule will depend on how this year things work out.

Sorry for any inconvenience, and we'll see you on the 20th!!
