Hi. Pleased that you could make it. This site is maintained by The St John's Anime Film Society thanks to a generous load of disc real estate provided by Kai S. Wong. The facilities here are divided into five main sections. On your first visit, it is best to follow the listed order, thus:
[Resource Center] [Gallery] [Society Room] [Departure Lounge]
The Anime Resource Center introduces anime to the curious, while also providing useful reference information and general foolishness to the more experienced.
The Gallery contains a small museum's worth of anime artwork, much of it our own scans and screen captures and unique to this site. We are particularly proud of the rooms dedicated to the work of Hayao Miyazaki.
For information about the AFS, drop into the Society Room. Those here at Memorial University (MUN), or otherwise living in St John's are especially encouraged to visit.
Lastly the Departure Lounge offers the most modern travel appointments for visiting other areas of interest, for anime of course, but also links to Japan for those interested in making a virtual pilgrimmage. I hear Kyoto is wonderful this time of year...

These pages were designed to be viewed with Mosaic, Netscape Navigator, or Internet Explorer. But you can use any of the plethora of other browsers available. Some of our pages do use Netscape/HTML2/HTML3 enhancements, but we try to keep the pages at least usable with a good old plain HTML browser. We suggest a browser with graphics capabilities and inline images turned on. An external viewer capable of handling both GIF and JPEG image formats is also highly recommended.
